Never see a leaning stick or a worn cup or ferrule. Even with heavy use and wind rotating the flagstick, this cup an ferrule combination keeps the flagstick perfectly straight. The cup uses a special non-stick technology and the, wide-shouldered, notched ferrule work together beautifully. When the flagstick is dropped into the cup, and the notches in the ferrule mesh with the ribs in the cup, the flagstick can’t rotate. So the excessive wear on the cup and ferrule is eliminated.

Flagsticks stand perfectly straight
With the notches and ribs aligned the flags can't twist or rotate or work their way out of the cup
This combination greatly reduces the wear on the cup and the ferrule
Easy to drop in, and lift out with no twisting necessary
